Icelandic folklorist and young scholar Dagný Kristinsdóttir developed a guided tour for the length of the Strandir region based on local folktales and popular beliefs. The text is designed both for audio guidance and as preparatory material for guides. The focus is on the narrative landscape of Standir; enchanted spots, stone trolls, places linked to the witch persecutions of the 17th century, ghosts, and other supernatural beings. The project was supervised jointly by the research centre and the Magic and Witchcraft Exhibition, and supported by the Icelandic Student Development Fund.
